1. Agreement and eligibility

These terms form a binding contract between you and UCATlas. By creating an account or buying a subscription, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old (or have permission from a parent or guardian) and that you accept this contract. If you don’t accept it, please don’t use the service.

2. Your account

  • You must give us accurate sign-up information and keep it up to date.
  • One account per person. Don’t share your sign-in credentials. We may suspend accounts that appear to be shared between users.
  • You are responsible for everything done with your account. Tell us at arizzaman99@gmail.com straight away if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Plans, payments & renewals

  • The free (Starter) plan is available to anyone with an account, with the limits described on our pricing page.
  • Paid plans are billed through Stripe in GBP (or your local currency where supported). Prices shown on the pricing page include UK VAT where applicable.
  • Monthly subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. One-off plans are not auto-renewed.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account or by emailing arizzaman99@gmail.com. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access for the period you have already paid for.
  • If a payment fails we may suspend access until the issue is resolved. We will normally give you reasonable notice and a chance to update your card.

4. Cancellation & refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on the first purchase of any paid plan. Full details — including how to claim and the limited situations where a refund may not be available — are in our refund policy, which is part of these terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape, mirror, redistribute, or resell our questions, explanations, mock exams, or other content;
  • circumvent technical access controls, including subscription gating or rate limits;
  • use the service in a way that breaks the law (including UK fraud, copyright, and data-protection law);
  • upload malware, attempt to probe for vulnerabilities, or run automated traffic against our APIs without prior written agreement;
  • use the AI tutor to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content, or to share material you do not have the right to share.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section without refund. We will let you know why, unless doing so would compromise an investigation or break the law.

6. Intellectual property

The UCATlas brand, copy, design, code, question bank, mock exams, and AI tutor prompts are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trade-mark law. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the platform for your own personal UCAT preparation only.

You keep ownership of anything you create within the platform (notes, planner entries, your answers). You grant us a limited licence to host and display this content so we can deliver the service to you.

7. AI tutor & generated content

The AI tutor uses third-party large-language-model APIs. Generated answers may be incorrect, incomplete, or out of date. Always cross-check explanations against trusted UCAT sources. The AI tutor is a study aid — it is not professional medical, legal, or careers advice.

8. Third-party services

We use Stripe for payments, Supabase for hosting, Google for the AI tutor, and other providers listed in our privacy notice. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms.

9. Disclaimers & UCAT Consortium

UCATlas is independent UCAT preparation. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by the UCAT Consortium. “UCAT” is a registered trademark of the UCAT Consortium. All references to UCAT or to specific universities are nominative — they describe what we help you prepare for, not who we are partnered with.

We do not guarantee any specific UCAT score, university offer, or career outcome. The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else we cannot lawfully limit.

Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) £100 or (b) the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss of data beyond the standard measure of damages.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time — for example, when we add new features or when the law changes. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the current version. If a change materially reduces your rights we will give you reasonable notice (typically by email) before it takes effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that consumers resident outside England and Wales keep the protections of their local courts and laws.
